Wildflowers at Moab

Wildflowers at Moab

For some reason, it never dawned on me that we might be able to see some wildflowers when we were visiting Moab this time around.  Of course, we’d never been there this early in the season, so we were pleasantly surprised

Among the Giants

Among the red rocks near Moab, in the springtime, there are treasures to be found, both in the rocks themselves and in the wildflowers.  I believe these red blooms are a version of a flower called a bottle brush.  It’s standing tall with the rocky bluff in the background.

Beauty in the Sand

These lovely wildflowers were found growing in the sandy soil near Moab, UT.  The image was converted into a painting by the magic of computers, and creates a nice, soft feel to the blooms.

Inspire

The yellow blooms seem to be drawing inspiration from the tall rockly bluff behind them.  They seem to be reaching for the sky, or at least the top of the bluff!  I look at this image and feel a great deal of inspiration in nature and how we can learn from it.

Enjoy!
