Morning Walk
When we were at
Patagonia Lake State Park, we took a walk with Max one morning, and I saw so
many lovely, peaceful sights, and one incredible bridge! I had to capture some of them and convert
them to paintings. I then searched for
quotes that seemed to reflect a meaning one could take from each of them.
I think this is a
very thoughtful idea. I do find that if
I have a good state of mind on a given day, things just naturally seem to “go
my way” – no long lines at the store, I can find what I’m looking for right
away, etc. When I am in a negative state
of mind, needless to say, I find things just don’t go my way…..or maybe it’s my
perspective coloring things?
Isn’t this the
truth? We all tend to get caught up in
the latest news, the latest scandal, and it tends to color how we view the
world. We then find ourselves thinking
that things are just not going well all over the world. But, nature is a constant, and it is
sometimes the most real thing out there.
I love this
quote! It’s so true. Without making mistakes, it’s much, much
harder to learn. And, learning from our
mistakes is a valuable learning tool. I
really feel sorry for those who are afraid of making mistakes. I can’t help but wonder how much they are
missing out on in life. After all, we’re
not born experts at everything!
Enjoy!
